Apple releases watchOS 8.5 beta 4 to all developers. This release comes a week after the previous beta and 12 days after the company made watchOS 8.4.2 available to all users.
Today's version is 19T5238a. Unlike other operating systems, watchOS 8.5 has no substantial changes.
In fact, watchOS 8 updates were quite weak like watchOS 8.4, which was released on January 26 - only fixed a bug that prevented Apple Watch from charging with certain third-party chargers.
In addition to watchOS 8.5, Apple is testing iOS 15.4 with Face ID with support for masks, new emojis and more. For macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4 beta, the company is finally making Universal Control available. Apple is also in the fourth beta of tvOS 15.4 and HomePod 15.4.
Finally, users can sign up for the watchOS public beta program if they want to try out the latest Apple Watch features, as you can learn more here.
